Founder Members of the European Recycling Coalition

Within the context of the EU Commission’s Thematic Strategy on the Prevention and Recycling of Waste (December 2005) and the proposed revision of the Waste Framework Directive, the Recycling Coalition has come together to provide analysis on Commission proposals and contribute to the debate around future EU waste policy for the development of a suitable recycling legislative framework.

Formed in 2005, the European Recycling Coalition represents an alliance of stakeholders covering several of the main material streams and environmental interests principally concerned with the promotion of recycling activities.
